This blog is specifically for future teachers (especially, the ones that I have in class). These pre-service teachers are the real 21st century teachers. They have grown up with technology and are very comfortable and familiar with it. So not only do these 21st century teachers need to know how to effectively use teaching strategies, engage their students in learning, apply classroom management, meet the needs of all learners, and the list goes on :) ...they also need to know how to integrate technology into the classroom, and they need to know how to do it well. It seems so easy, but it can be challenging because they have never really seen it done before, like it will be expected of them to do. This is a very exciting learning adventure because together we are and will continue to look for ways to effectively integrate technology into the 21st century elementary classroom--and hopefully, it will have an impact on student learning!
